Dangerous Kiss

At dinner
His hand on my knee
Brushed aside
As the waiter approaches
Tension builds
He is delicious
He is dangerous

Driving
He touches my arm
I pull back
I dream of his touch
I crave him
But it is dangerous
Someone might see
And would know

At home
In private
His head in my lap
We watch
Brothers and sisters die
Because a kiss
Was dangerous

Mathew W is a Southern California native who fell in love with language early on. Words are power, and raising energy through poetry and song is how he worships. Living in San Diego, he is still working on finding his Tribe and knows that chosen family is key to joy. Now 54, he hopes his words will support those who feel on the fringes, those who feel left behind and left out. Living in San Diego, he is still working on building his Tribe and knows that chosen family is key to joy.
