Janet Cobb holds a degree in food science and nutrition, with an emphasis in culinary arts. As a head chef, a personal home chef, and an educational cooking instructor, Janet has served 1000s and taught 100s. Janet has taken her talents across the globe and returned enriched by other cultures and cuisines. Throughout her career, Janet has designed innovative, flavorful recipes to enhance physical and mental well-being through her culinary creations. In addition to her culinary talents and passions, Janet has also earned a bachelor's in English Literature and Linguistics and a post-graduate Certification in Education from the University of Hong Kong, a master's in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University, Chicago, and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional and Certified Fund Raising Executive. In her passion to nourish both body and soul, Janet has served as mentor and coach to more than 500 nonprofit leaders across the globe. Janet is also an international speaker, a TEDx speaker, workshop facilitator, coach and the author of five books: Raising Butterflies -- to set them free; Surviving Sanctity: One Woman's Journey from Welfare, to Religion, to Sanity; Promised Land: The 10 Commandments for Nonprofit Strategy, Communications, and Fundraising; and, Get Rooted, Stay Grounded, and Thrive: A Guide to Radical Personal Exploration, along with its companion journal.
